Milan's market is mainly focused on sales. According to Matteo Moretto on Fabrizio Romano's YouTube channel, the club needs to free up some squad places before completing new signings.
The market expert analyzed the situation of Pervis Estupinan, Youssouf Fofana, and Samuele Ricci, three names indicated as possible exits in the coming weeks.
Milan, Estupinan and the Aston Villa background
Regarding Estupinan, Moretto explained that Aston Villa had concretely evaluated his purchase, but the negotiation stopped because Ruben Amorim wanted to evaluate the player during the summer tour.
The English club then turned to Matteo Ruggeri, with a very similar economic investment to what they could have destined for the Ecuadorian. An operation that confirms the distance between the parties was mainly related to technical evaluations and not economic ones.
Milan, Fofana and Ricci among the possible sacrifices
According to Moretto, however, the discussion also concerns the midfield. Fofana and Ricci are in fact two profiles that Milan could evaluate for exit to make room for new, more functional signings for Amorim's project.
The situation of the Rossoneri market remains linked to a clear principle: first sales, then signings. The management will have to identify the players to sacrifice to allow the team to complete the squad for the new season.
