Milan transfer market, the management had identified three targets for each position: some profiles could become relevant again in the upcoming windows

According to Pietro Balzano Prota, the profiles evaluated with the greatest conviction were Mario Gila and Gonçalo Ramos, who were later actually added to the squad available to Ruben Amorim.
For the role of an attacking winger capable of operating on the flanks, the first choice was Konstantinos Karetsas. The young talent, however, chose Borussia Dortmund, forcing the Rossoneri club to modify its plans. The Milan evaluation also included the issue related to Mattia Liberali, already examined in recent weeks.
During the final phase of the market the management also courted Gonçalo Inacio to strengthen the defence. Tiago Gabriel, another centre‑back considered, did not fully convince Amorim from a technical point of view.
